Hanging on older walls
Plaster over wood lath is harder and more brittle than drywall. It needs slow drilling and the right anchors to avoid cracking. We check what your wall is made of first.

- Find the weight of what you want to hang. Mirror and TV boxes usually list it.
- Check where outlets and switches are. Wires often run straight up or across from them.
- Hold the item in place and take a phone photo to judge the height before drilling.
